[Udpcast] [PATCH] Syslog use

Thanks for your patch. This is now in today's version.

However, due to space constraints, I changed it so that the code is
only active for the standalone command-line version (for usage on an
image-server), but not on the embedded (bootable) version, which would
not have a syslog facility anyways.
