The following solution worked for me: 1. Create an image with the cast-o-matic wizard ( http://www.udpcast.linux.lu/cast-o-matic/) 2. On the second page of the wizard, there is a field called " Commands to be executed before udpcast menu:" 3. Add the following lines of code into that field: modprobe uhci-hcd modprobe ohci-hcd modprobe usbkbd 4. Finish creating the boot image and see if it works for you. Good luck Chad B. I build an iso image with my 2.6.18 kernel (not optimized for udpcast: it is the one I use on my computer running debian etch) and it works. Network card is recognized as e1000. 2.6.17-5 Mandriva 2007 kernel recognize it as well. Do you plan building a new udpcast-optimized-kernel? Last stable version is 2.6.19... Thank you very much! -- Stephane PS: I hope you'll understand the froggy way I write english. -- Stephane Boireau Animateur TICE Bernay/Pont-Audemer
